Fossil fuels are reducing, less and less oil and gas reserves have been found every year for the past number of years. It is rare now for a big oil field to be found. l reserves are likely to be found farther out to sea which is very difficult to access because of the harsh and deep seas. Engineers are working on ways to access these reserves in the future.

Biocoal could make a big difference because it takes plant material, most of which is currently allowed to rot and converts it into something useful. The biocoal can then be used instead of fossil coal. So we are reducing a waste and also a fossil fuel by making a new product, biocoal.
