The most expensive household item in my house that uses the most energy is my oven & hob. It is run only on electricity and i generally use it once a day. Typically a fridge freezer or a tumble dryer would also use the most energy. I don’t have a tumble dryer or a big fridge freezer in my house.

I would say electric showers, kettles and immersion heaters. Anything that boils a lot of water absorbs lots of energy.
